What I Ate in a Week?

I have a lot of work with my thesis at the moment, so I have been determined to write that for the last few weeks.
Autumn is definitely here, but it's a busy time of the year and I have changed my lifestyle a little bit. I'll let you know about it later.
Now I just wanted to bring here pictures of my meals as I am interested to know how to make healthy yet satisfying food.
Hopefully this will bring you some inspiration to the kitchen as well!

As you can see, we enjoy us pretty healthy food with a lot of vegetables. I can't still eat as healthy as I wanted, because being a student forces me to make cheaper options. Anyways, I'm learning to make good and healthy food on a low budget.
We have been loving smoothies and yogurts for snacks and post workout treats. Also a little homemade baked goods are something to remember every now and then! ;)

Walking and Enjoying Summer!

Basically the whole weekend went by walking. We walked Saturday in Salo about 10 kilometers. I went to highschool in that small town, so it was funny to be there again as I haven't been there for such a long time. I got a chance to remember some of the teenage memories that came into my head while I showed some places to my boyfriend. Very nostalgic!
Yesterday we biked total 8 kilometers as we went to the beach here in Turku. The weather was so nice that after a coffee break we decided to take a walk, which ended up being about 15 kilometers. It was relaxing and beautiful to see flowers and butterflies and the evening sun.
In the evening I was really tired and it has continued even still today, but I have to get productive enough to make some food in a minute.

These pictures were taken yesterday. I find it that it's really a great way to spend a relaxing weekend by exploring new places. It takes my mind off from worries so I'm not stressing over the little things in life.

Quick and Healthy Snack Option!

I think that I've found the best snack for me. I have had difficulties eating healthy yet satisfying snacks during my days. I've always wanted something super quick and really filling. Too often I've gave up for chocolate bars or cookies, when I've felt super hungry.   This summer it all changed and I have been loving Greek yogurt, because it's quickly made and really filling. It gives me right amount of energy to keep going either with work or training. It's nice to add some berries, nuts and honey in it for making the yogurt tastier and sweeter. In that way it also helps me to get over occasional sugar cravings and it's a lot better replacement for chocolate cookies for sure. I usually like to add bananas, cranberries and honey in my favorite mixture but the variations are endless. I'm so glad that I have finally started to make effort in eating at least a bit healthier.
I'm going to make one of these right now before I head out for jogging.

 Sweet last summer days!

22

Last Monday I turned 22 and I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday with the greatest people. A little party never killed nobody right? ;)
We drank the wine, which we bought while we were in Greece and it brought up all the nice summer memories.  I also was lucky to have the one of best morning as I got cake for breakfast, which has never happened to me before.

Enjoy the last summer days! :)

Hurray to Hurraw!

I'm in love with these Hurraw! lip balms. These organic lip balms guarantee you the softest lips ever or at least they did for me. The scents that I have are absolutely amazing. So sweet and strong that it makes me to want to eat them. The delicate and summery vanilla reminds me of ice cream and my boyfriend loves it too! I only have two of these lip balms for now, but I'm planning to purchase more. I just don't know which one would be the next one? Should I go for the lime or chocolate? It might be just as hard to pick a favorite as in a candy shop.

I also loved the sun balm (tangerine and chamomile), which has SPF 15 in it.  It's perfect for those sunny days, when you have to protect your sensitive skin in lips. I took it with me in Greece and used it all the time. Hopefully it protected my lips enough, but at least it reminds me of the trip now afterwards! So I love it!

Hurraw! lip balms contain caring and nourishing ingredients such as vitamin E, jojoba and almond oils. These contain also all natural ingredients and are suitable for vegans. I recommend at least trying these, cause I liked them more than I could have imagined. I haven't ever been so addicted to lip balms, but now it's quite close to happen. Sometimes when I have a sugar craving I just use the vanilla lip balm and it suddenly goes away.

Kissable Wednesday!

My Lazy Weekend!

These weeks pass by just so fast. It feels like not a long ago it was Monday and now it's already Sunday. Maybe I'm in that age that the time starts to fly by. Anyway,  I had a cozy weekend and I spend it by having a relaxing time at sauna, eating well and just chilling and watching movies at home.
After a long walk that we just did I feel energized, so I wanted to share my weekend pictures with you!

I had to make something tasty dessert today! Although, I've tried to break up the habit of sugar, I decided to give myself a little Sunday treat! ♥ I also liked trying these Arizona Green Tea drinks. Just delicious!
